19Oct2024 Plant Sale - What will we have for sale?!

Hey New Roots Nursery Fam! We are gearing up for our plant sale this weekend and as we do, it's important you're aware of exactly what we'll have available!


Starting with some of our favorite houseplants:

  1. Sansevieria Snake Plants

    1. Several varieties and in FANTASTIC condition! Priced between $10-15/each!!

  2. Tradescantia Baskets

    1. We decided to combine and make some beautiful tradescantia baskets that are now looking fantastic and ready for new homes! These would look great inside for the winter and are super easy to care for!

  3. Syngonium/Arrowhead Plants

    1. We have large and full Syngoniums of many varieties including; Pink Allusion, Marie Bronze, Bold/Bob Allusion, White Butterfly, and some combined to include a variety!

  4. Pothos!

    1. Golden, Neon, Pearls N' Jade, Albo, Hawaii, Baltic Blue, Marble Queen and more!

      1. We have a selection of small/medium sized plants ready to go!!

  5. Spider Plants!

    1. We have our regular Spider Plants which are full, some small/medium sized with loads of babies!

    2. We also have our new, Mandarin Orange Spider Plants which are GORGEOUS and ready for new homes! Come see for yourself!

  6. Succulents/Cacti

    1. Mules Ear/Donkeys Ear - Easy to grow & propagates quite easily!

    2. Tiger's Jaw Succulents - these are gorgeous and super cute succulents!

  7. Philodendrons

    1. We have small-medium sized Philodendrons!

      1. Vining varieties include Philo Brazil, Rio, Micans, and more!

    2. Climbing Varieties include New Red, Prince Orange, Birkin, Red Congo, and more!

  8. Begonias

    1. Our Begonias are looking FANTASTIC! Plenty of medium-large plants available as well as small 4-5" starter plants ready to go to a new home!

      1. Varieties include; Angel Wing, Polka Dot, Rex, Morocco, and a few others!

  9. Moss Pole Plants

    1. We've grown some absolutely stunning plants on moss poles this year! Baltic Blue Pothos with TONS of fenestration and in excellent condition! Mojito Synognium ready to be chopped or extended (YOUR CHOICE!), and a variety of Philodendrons! These are priced at $50+ and we sell ready to be filled moss poles for only $10/each!

  10. Calatheas

    1. These are looking absolutely full & gorgeous right now! Varieties include Calathea Setosa Grey Star and others!

  11. Picasso Crotons

    1. These sun loving plants will grow to show beautiful colored foliage when given more direct light! They're easy to grow and 3/4 of the year can be kept outside in direct sun - keep in mind in containers they will need LOTS of water!

  12. PERENNIALS!

    1. Daylilies (Bright Orange)

    2. Blue Flag Iris (purple bloom)

    3. Bearded Iris (Large purple flowers, spring blooms!)

    4. Hosta (Satisfaction, Lancifolia, Winter Snow, and several other varieties)

    5. Lantana

    6. Variegated Toad Lilies (GORGEOUS flowers!)

  13. Fig Trees

    1. We have several Celesta, Brown Turkey, and LSU fig trees available!

  14. Fan Palm Trees

    1. Only 2 of these left and start at $25!

  15. Canna Lillies

    1. Green Foliage (we believe these are yellow flowers!)

    2. Variegated Canna (Orange Bloom)

  16. Eastern Redbud Tree Saplings

    1. These have grown out for 1 season and are a NC Native! We sell these for only $10/each!!

  17. Jackfruit Trees!

    1. We have 2-year-old Jackfruit Trees and 1 year old Saplings available! We grow these from seed as rare Tropicals which cannot survive outside during the winter. Grow them as container plants much like you'd treat a citrus tree such as lemon/lime - best light/temperature/humidity you can create until temperatures are consistently above 55 degrees!


Lastly, we have tons more that I did not list and many smaller plants that would be excellent starter plants! Come see for yourself all that we've been growing and support your local growing plant nursery!


Don't forget we ALWAYS accept plastic nursery pots, trays, and more as we grow! We can also repot plants and accept drop-offs, or same day repots if possible!
