New Roots Nursery is a small, backyard nursery owned/operated by Matt Wetmore and his partner Grace. Our mission is to provide our community/customers with the highest quality plants, knowledge, and resources for all things gardening. We focus on growing a large variety of flowering perennials, native plants, vegetable starts, tropical houseplants, rare/unique plants, and much more!

Our nursery is our home (literally) - we sell out of our driveway and open up for sales only a select few days a year. We are both working professionals who aspire to grow this nursery into a retail location in the future! If you would like to visit, purchase plants, or view our inventory please call/plan ahead.

When you visit, you'll arrive in our driveway, see our vegetable garden plot in the front amongst several mature perennial beds/display gardens. In the back we have a 10'x12" greenhouse, 6 large, galvanized metal raised garden beds and loads of space occupied by container perennials, trees, shrubs, and vegetable plants that we offer for sale.
